The service
Monkey Riot is a web application that helps UK landlords and investors understand their property portfolios. The product home is monkey-riot.com/product. The signed-in app is app.monkey-riot.com. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.
Accounts
You must provide accurate details and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Founding-member applications on monkey-riot.com do not guarantee access; we may accept or decline applications.
Gmail
Connecting Gmail is optional. If you connect it, you authorise Monkey Riot to read the connected inbox so we can import rent statements and invoices. You can disconnect at any time in Settings → Integrations. You must only connect an inbox you are allowed to use.
Your content
You retain ownership of the data you upload or import. You grant us a limited licence to process that data solely to provide Monkey Riot to you.
No financial or legal advice
Figures, scores, forecasts and other outputs in Monkey Riot are a model of the information you provide and the documents we import. They are not financial, tax, legal or investment advice. You remain responsible for decisions you make about properties, tenants, tax and money.
Liability
The service is provided as-is. To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Monkey Riot is not liable for loss arising from your interpretation of outputs, from incomplete or incorrect source data, or from interruption of third-party services (including Gmail, payments or hosting). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt to access other customers’ data, or use the product for unlawful purposes. We may suspend accounts that put the service or other customers at risk.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also bring claims in their home courts.
